Aaron Muffett vs Tobias McPhee

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-New York State promoted show at Mulroy Civic Center Carrier Theater, Syracuse,  taking place on 02/06/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New York State Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aaron Muffett (5 - 9) who hails from New York City, USA and Tobias McPhee(5 - 11 - 3) from New York City, USA.  Both Muffett and McPhee weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Craighead, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Moffitt, Bart Budge and Sam Calderwood.  

Round 1: 

McPhee lands a jab.  
Muffett advances into close range.  McPhee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Muffett is on target with a right hook to McPhee's ribs.  
Muffett closes the distance.  Muffett voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  McPhee steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
McPhee switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.
