Abdul Wassan vs Syed Hamid

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Berjaya Convention Centre, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 21/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Abdul Wassan (13 - 1) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Syed Hamid(14 - 6 - 2) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Wassan weighed in at 107 pounds And 13 ounces, while Hamid weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Shariff, and the three ringside judges are Saad Hassan, Farhan Younis and Saad Hassan.  

Round 1: 

Wassan feints a jab, but Hamid is not fooled and responds with a left uppercut.
