Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at YMCA Ground, Kampala,  taking place on 02/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ubanwa Tiperu (13(1) - 4) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Quoitrel Aseru(15 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Tiperu and Aseru weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Takuba, and the three ringside judges are Zain Ahsan, Felix Makubuya and Paul Butime.  

Round 1:
