Brett Porteous vs Joel Tweedy

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Chris Cowen Gym, Hamilton,  taking place on 01/07/2025:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Waikato have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Porteous (2 - 3 - 1) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Joel Tweedy(10 - 1) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Porteous weighed in at 125 pounds And 8 ounces, while Tweedy weighed in at 125 pounds And 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Shirah, and the three ringside judges are Wayne Skillen, David Darnley and Danny Ewing.
