Paul Ngassi vs Thabang Lakay

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Barnyard Theatre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 10/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Paul Ngassi (8 - 0) who hails from Johannesburg, South Africa and Thabang Lakay(9 - 7 - 2) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Ngassi weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces, while Lakay weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Phumelele Mkhize, and the three ringside judges are Clinton Nyauza, Thomas Kotze and Quannell Poku.
