Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 05/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kong Jow (9(2) - 0 - 1) who hails from Kunming, China and Alan McCadden(8(1) - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Jow and McCadden weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cody Biggs, and the three ringside judges are Paul Elliot, William Taylor and Michael Beretta.  

Round 1: 

Jow finds the target with a jab.  Jow attempts to land a jab, but McCadden sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

McCadden steps inside and manouvers Jow onto the ropes.  McCadden sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Jow is on target with a right hook.  Jow holds on to his opponent.  McCadden leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, McCadden pushes his forearm into Jow's face.  The referee warns McCadden and breaks the clinch.  
Jow lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
McCadden manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Jow stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Jow lands a right uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS MCCADDEN TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  McCadden now seems to have got his legs back.
