Andrii Chagin vs Frank MacNaughton

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Frank Gym, Manchester,  taking place on 30/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Andrii Chagin (3 - 0) who hails from Yekaterinburg, Russia and Frank MacNaughton(4 - 0) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Chagin and MacNaughton weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Sprout, and the three ringside judges are John Fate, Thomas MacGregor and Paul Elliot.  

Round 1: 

MacNaughton connects with an overhand left.  
Chagin attempts to land a cross, but MacNaughton sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

MacNaughton advances into close range.  Chagin pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook.  
Chagin tries to step out of his opponents range.  MacNaughton throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Chagin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a stiff jab.
