Floyd Edwards vs Jacob Maddy

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at Houston Carnegie, Houston,  taking place on 02/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Floyd Edwards (15 - 0) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Jacob Maddy(2 - 4 - 2) from Little Rock, USA.  Edwards weighed in at 229 pounds and 10 ounces, while Maddy weighed in at 238 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Evans, and the three ringside judges are Sid Hackney, Corey Barnes and Ricky Steenson.

You can sense the frustration from Maddy now.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care! 
Maddy pivots to the right of his opponent.  Edwards lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Maddy is clearly losing his cool here!   He steps inside, but then strikes Edwards with a blatant low blow!  The ref halts the action and sends Edwards to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Maddy and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.
