Joe Kyle vs Paul Rayos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Henrico Theater, Richmond,  taking place on 04/07/2025:

Clearly AI USA-Virginia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joe Kyle (9 - 1) who hails from Boise, USA and Paul Rayos(2 - 15 - 4) from Houston, USA.  Kyle weighed in at 108 pounds, while Rayos weighed in at 106 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adam Walls, and the three ringside judges are Cole Scott, Mason Mundie and Hugh Cassidy.  

Round 1: 

Kyle lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Rayos.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.

Kyle is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Rayos in the corner.  Kyle connects with a solid right uppercut.
