Harry Glaspy vs Scott Shira

Boxing Daily Report from the Ssali Promotions promoted show at Blackburn Sports & Leisure Centre, Blackburn,  taking place on 06/07/2025:

Clearly Ssali Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harry Glaspy (8 - 10) who hails from Hull, UK and Scott Shira(5 - 1) from Carlisle, UK.  Both Glaspy and Shira weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bradley Hughes, and the three ringside judges are Rob Marceau, Arran Bogle and Brin Mickel.  

Round 1: 

Shira lands a stinging jab.  
Shira is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Shira advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Shira advances into close range.  Shira drives a left hook into Glaspy's ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Glaspy dabs at his face checking for damage.

Shira manages to force Glaspy into the blue corner.  Shira lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  Shira holds on to his opponent.  Glaspy leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Shira steps inside.  Glaspy hits home with a left hook.  
Shira closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.
