Juan Miguel vs Takeo Sera

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Oregon State Fair & Expo Center Pavilion, Salem,  taking place on 09/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBC Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Miguel (16(1) - 2(2)) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Takeo Sera(18(6) - 2(2) - 1) from Ichikawa, Japan.  Both Miguel and Sera weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Lewis, and the three ringside judges are Kian Bilbao, Ethan Mingus and Joe Rainey.  

Round 1: 

Sera hits the target with a hard jab.  
Sera is on target with a jab to Miguel's body.  
Miguel is looking to keep his distance.  Sera lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Miguel attempts to land a jab, but Sera blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Sera senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Sera lands a left hook, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MIGUEL DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Miguel now seems to have his senses back.  
Sera sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a cross to the head and a jab to the body.
