Diego Chavis vs Leonardo Carrero

Boxing Daily Report from the Obodom Promotions promoted show at Federico Opus Gym, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 08/07/2025:

Clearly Obodom Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Chavis (5 - 8(1) - 3) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Leonardo Carrero(16 - 3 - 3) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Chavis and Carrero weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xaver Cabatana, and the three ringside judges are Jose De Anda, Jose De Anda and Jose Maybituin.  

Round 1: 

Chavis switches the action to the outside.  Carrero finds the target with a jab.
