James Cavanagh vs Brian McCorvey

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Lancashire CCC, Manchester,  taking place on 06/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Channel 5, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Cavanagh (6 - 10 - 2) who hails from Warrington, UK and Brian McCorvey(2 - 4 - 2) from Bury, UK.  Both Cavanagh and McCorvey weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Loch, and the three ringside judges are Jack Keefe, Ewan Sprout and Robert Wathen.  

Round 1: 

Cavanagh pivots from in front of his opponent.  McCorvey lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
