Greg Orman vs Felix Middlemas

Boxing Daily Report from the Logan Cop promoted show at Chris Dunnett Gym, Liverpool,  taking place on 14/06/2025:

Clearly Logan Cop have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Greg Orman (9 - 3 - 2) who hails from Nottingham, UK and Felix Middlemas(6 - 6) from Birmingham, UK.  Both Orman and Middlemas weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isaac MacIver, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Sayer, Owen Wallace and John Magee.  

Round 1: 

Orman is looking to keep his distance.  Orman feints a left hook, and then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Orman tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  Orman attempts to land a jab, but Middlemas blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Orman is on target with a left hook.

Middlemas steps inside.  Middlemas throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Orman time to recover.  
Orman sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Middlemas is on target with a left hook.  
Orman gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Orman switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Middlemas walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Orman finds the target with a jab.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Orman dabs at his face checking for damage.  Orman has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.
