Shontae Asiago vs Sajid Barghouti

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Mbaraki Sports Club, Mombasa,  taking place on 26/07/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the IRBF Intercontinental Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shontae Asiago (18(8) - 0) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Sajid Barghouti(11 - 11(1)) from Sana'a, Yemen.  Both Asiago and Barghouti weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Waciuma, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Badini, Jay Matiku and Hayden Sakudao.

Asiago steps to the outside.  Barghouti tries to land a jab, but Asiago slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.

Asiago is looking to close the distance.  Barghouti sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Asiago lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Asiago steps inside and hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  Asiago throws a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
