Dave Conant vs Paul Cali

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 29/06/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Dave Conant (0 - 0) who hails from Perth, Australia and Paul Cali(1 - 1) from Brisbane, Australia.  Conant weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces, while Cali weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Ghant, and the three ringside judges are James Finocchiaro, Richard Lowe and John Hakopyan.
