David Watkins vs Thanos Rallis

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Blue Cross Arena, Rochester,  taking place on 16/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the WRBC International Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DAZN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Watkins (16(9) - 2(1)) who hails from Bristol, UK and Thanos Rallis(12 - 5 - 1) from Athens, Greece.  Watkins weighed in at 175 pounds, while Rallis weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leighton MacGinnis, and the three ringside judges are Davie Cleary, John Purcell and Gethin Ranieri.  

Round 1:

Rallis lands a right hook.  Rallis wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Watkins dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Rallis pivots from in front of his opponent.  Watkins crashes a mean left hook to Rallis's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE RALLIS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Rallis almost instantly recovers. 
Watkins lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Rallis almost instantly recovers.
