Cipriano Yanes vs Montego Curiel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Valle del Cauca promoted show at Cali Cuadrado, Cali,  taking place on 13/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South American Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Cipriano Yanes (13 - 1 - 1) who hails from Cali, Colombia and Montego Curiel(26(17) - 0) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Yanes and Curiel weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hernan Salvatierra, and the three ringside judges are Olindo Ventura, Rodrigo Toral and Antonio Gonzalez.
