Fumio Koyama vs Heung-Min Yon

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 12/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the East Asian Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fumio Koyama (13 - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Kawasaki, Japan and Heung-Min Yon(16 - 1) from Cheongju, South Korea.  Koyama weighed in at 121 pounds and 6 ounces, while Yon weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dai Ishikawa, and the three ringside judges are Hisoka Yamamoto, Taro Sunada and Naoki Morita.
