Ollie Raza vs Siyabonga Sono

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 25/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ollie Raza (10 - 3(1)) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Siyabonga Sono(12 - 3) from Durban, South Africa.  Raza weighed in at 226 pounds and 5 ounces, while Sono weighed in at 241 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Uba Akamenya, and the three ringside judges are Ontibile Nyauza, Asavela Sikali and Barry Khuzwayo.
