Obaid Murad vs Matt Ruhumbika

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Kasarani indoor arena, Nairobi,  taking place on 12/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Eastern African Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Obaid Murad (10(1) - 4 - 1) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Matt Ruhumbika(13 - 5) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Murad and Ruhumbika weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Abed, and the three ringside judges are Sam Konchellah, Billy Tumbo and Luister Mutahi.  

Round 1:
