Ricardo Velez vs Fidel Cantos

Boxing Daily Report from the Bani Promotions promoted show at Leonel Bosquez Gym, Barranquilla,  taking place on 15/06/2025:

Clearly Bani Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Atlantico Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Velez (13 - 2 - 1) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Fidel Cantos(8 - 8 - 2) from Barranquilla, Colombia.  Velez weighed in at 235 pounds and 10 ounces, while Cantos weighed in at 236 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gervasio Montejano, and the three ringside judges are Leonel Vasquez, Alejandro Sarmiento and Salvador Sanches.

Cantos steps inside and manouvers Velez onto the ropes.  Velez lands a right hook.
