Samir Hammad vs Oqtay Babayev

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Baku Panakhov, Baku,  taking place on 16/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Azerbaijan Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Samir Hammad (14 - 0 - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Oqtay Babayev(13 - 3) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Hammad weighed in at 122 pounds, while Babayev weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.
