Rodrigo Avena vs Berto Chavarria

Boxing Daily Report from the Rumfa Promotions promoted show at Jeraldo De la Fuente Gym, Cali,  taking place on 16/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Valle del Cauca Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Avena (3 - 10 - 3) who hails from Cali, Colombia and Berto Chavarria(14 - 5 - 1) from Cali, Colombia.  Avena weighed in at 200 pounds, while Chavarria weighed in at 199 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Gordon, and the three ringside judges are Juan Calvo, Antonio Gonzalez and Francisco Carrera.  

Round 1:
