Federico Silvera vs Selestino Lares

Boxing Daily Report from the Ngcobo Promotions promoted show at Havana Capellan, Havana,  taking place on 16/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cuba-Havana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Federico Silvera (9 - 4 - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Selestino Lares(10 - 5 - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Silvera weighed in at 135 pounds, while Lares weighed in at 134 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fidel Serrano, and the three ringside judges are Alfonso Fiel, Alejandro Maria and Reyes Amaro.
