Boxing Daily Report from the Burja Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Montero, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 17/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Emanuel Matute (9 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Quiqui Sicilia(9 - 5 - 2) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Matute weighed in at 122 pounds, while Sicilia weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Cura, and the three ringside judges are Hernan Orosco, Diego Torno and Olindo Cruzado.
