Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Scotland promoted show at Dundee Leishman, Dundee,  taking place on 17/07/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Scotland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Ellis (13(1) - 0) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and George Belches(8 - 5(1) - 1) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Ellis and Belches weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter McAlister, and the three ringside judges are Abdul Arif, David Hall and Bruce McBeth.
