Michi Iwai vs Yao Ni

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 11/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Michi Iwai (12 - 1) who hails from Higashiosaka, Japan and Yao Ni(9 - 4) from Taizhou, China.  Both Iwai and Ni weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nori Tamanaha, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Nakazawa, Kaede Toyama and Kenji Sera.
