Matt MacGibbon vs Sean Donlon

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Newcastle,  taking place on 16/08/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matt MacGibbon (10 - 0) who hails from Newcastle, Australia and Sean Donlon(12 - 3 - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  MacGibbon weighed in at 140 pounds, while Donlon weighed in at 139 pounds And 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Sneden, and the three ringside judges are Lewis Mescall, Colin McKay and Robert Callis.
