Haaris Hassen vs Paul Naikuni

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Ruiru Msolla, Ruiru,  taking place on 19/07/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Haaris Hassen (13(7) - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Paul Naikuni(11 - 3(2)) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Both Hassen and Naikuni weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Kamande, and the three ringside judges are Jay Karanja, Sam Ngugi and Jake Merande.
