Santhosh Kunjir vs Praveen Mathen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Gujurat promoted show at Siddharth Thaker Gym, Surat,  taking place on 21/06/2025:

Clearly AI India-Gujurat have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Gujurat Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santhosh Kunjir (5 - 0) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Praveen Mathen(5 - 7) from Ahmedabad, India.  Kunjir weighed in at 125 pounds And 11 ounces, while Mathen weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gurudas Kalla, and the three ringside judges are Santhosh Bhalla, Jyotish Balmuchu and Ajeet Matthai.
