Waqar Emami vs Asif Mehdiyev

Boxing Daily Report from the Andoh Promotions promoted show at Umair Edris Gym, Tabriz,  taking place on 21/06/2025:

Clearly Andoh Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-East Azerbaijan Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqar Emami (5 - 4 - 1) who hails from Tabriz, Iran and Asif Mehdiyev(5 - 7) from Tabriz, Iran.  Emami weighed in at 232 pounds and 13 ounces, while Mehdiyev weighed in at 238 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Waleed Sadyhov, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Rahmani, Obaid Saah and Haaris Hana.
