Farhan Barakat vs Duncan Awere

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Gyan, Accra,  taking place on 20/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Farhan Barakat (8 - 5 - 4) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Duncan Awere(8 - 0) from Achiaman, Ghana.  Both Barakat and Awere weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Usi Boakye, and the three ringside judges are Joe Kessels, Michael Amodako and Aaron Adams.
