Kian Banter vs Stephen Hughson

Boxing Daily Report from the Aqua Marines Promotions promoted show at Quad Superclub, Kingston,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Banter (6 - 0) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Stephen Hughson(8 - 7 - 1) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Banter and Hughson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Hedley, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Stater, Bob Witherow and Rob Nivison.  

Round 1: 

Banter is on target with a cross.  
Banter circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Hughson throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
