Goro Kobashigawa vs Fumio Nagai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hyogo promoted show at Hikaru Anno Gym, Akashi,  taking place on 23/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Goro Kobashigawa (9 - 8 - 4) who hails from Kobe, Japan and Fumio Nagai(10 - 8 - 1) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Kobashigawa and Nagai weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aoi Ohno, and the three ringside judges are Iwao Sumida, Ryo Takano and Jiro Kawakami.  

Round 1: 

Kobashigawa closes the distance and lands a left hook.
