Yasushi Kodama vs Aki Tanaka

Boxing Daily Report from the Muntari Promotions promoted show at Hamamatsu Tani, Hamamatsu,  taking place on 23/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Shizuoka Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yasushi Kodama (12 - 0) who hails from Hamamatsu, Japan and Aki Tanaka(9 - 2) from Shizuoka, Japan.  Both Kodama and Tanaka weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Onishi, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Fujino, Aki Ogata and Kei Katayama.
