Matthew Lish vs Noel Paekau

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Brett Cammon Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 26/06/2025:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Wellington have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew Lish (7 - 1) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Noel Paekau(12(1) - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Lish and Paekau weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Redhead, and the three ringside judges are Denton Rattray, Ollie Steel and Mark Dew.  

Round 1: 

Lish sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Paekau lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.
