Michael Duguid vs Nick Brier

Boxing Daily Report from the Aqua Marines Promotions promoted show at Quad Superclub, Kingston,  taking place on 01/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Jamaica Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael Duguid (11 - 0 - 1) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Nick Brier(11(2) - 2 - 2) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Duguid and Brier weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mike Keough, and the three ringside judges are Davie Taylor, Bob Witherow and Oliver Hedley.  

Round 1: 

Duguid switches the action to the outside.  Brier is on target with a stinging cross.  
Duguid steps away from his opponent and throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.
