Borya Kalns vs Sasha Apsite

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Latvia-Riga promoted show at Fedor Dambjakalns Gym, Riga,  taking place on 27/06/2025:

Clearly AI Latvia-Riga have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Latvia-Riga Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Borya Kalns (5 - 3(1)) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Sasha Apsite(4 - 1) from Riga, Latvia.  Both Kalns and Apsite weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sergei Cesnieks, and the three ringside judges are Afanas Tevinsh, Fadei Zvaigznite and Koldan Mazbralis.  

Round 1:
