Hikaru Hamada vs Liang Hon

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Beijing University Gymnasium, Beijing,  taking place on 19/07/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Starsports, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Hikaru Hamada (3 - 0) who hails from Saitama, Japan and Liang Hon(8 - 5 - 1) from Shanghai, China.  Hamada weighed in at 118 pounds, while Hon weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Quon Shu, and the three ringside judges are Fo-hsing Tse, Dewei Hsieh and Ye Yuen.  

Round 1: 

Hamada gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
