Sagaz Badilla vs Diego Tijerina

Boxing Daily Report from the Aqua Marines Promotions promoted show at Arena Jose Sulaiman, Monterrey,  taking place on 02/08/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sagaz Badilla (14 - 4 - 5) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Diego Tijerina(12 - 4 - 2) from Chimalhuacan, Mexico.  Both Badilla and Tijerina weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Salome, and the three ringside judges are Onofre Medero, Carlos Rochel and Enzo Larin.  

Round 1: 

Tijerina feints a jab, but Badilla is not fooled and is on target with a left uppercut.
