Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Perak promoted show at Ipoh Adel, Ipoh,  taking place on 26/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Perak Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Danyaal Syed (13 - 0) who hails from Ipoh, Malaysia and Dave Koh(16 - 3 - 2) from Ipoh, Malaysia.  Syed weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces, while Koh weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Syed Khan, and the three ringside judges are Jawad Shah, Amer Firman and Mohsin Zaki.

Koh is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Syed connects with a left hook.  Syed wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Koh has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
