Abbad Fegrouche vs Thawab Abdesselam

Boxing Daily Report from the Mphande Promotions promoted show at Tangier Basser, Tangier,  taking place on 26/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Morocco-Tanger-Tetouan Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Abbad Fegrouche (10 - 2) who hails from Tetouan, Morocco and Thawab Abdesselam(8 - 7 - 5) from Tangier, Morocco.  Both Fegrouche and Abdesselam weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aniq Aghmati, and the three ringside judges are Mujahid Elkaim, Jibran Sebti and Dirar Sheetrit.  

Round 1: 

Fegrouche is on target with a right hook.  
Abdesselam steps inside.  Fegrouche lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Fegrouche pivots to the left of his opponent.  Abdesselam throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Abdesselam manages to force Fegrouche onto the ropes.  Abdesselam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Fegrouche finds the target with a hard jab.
