Alejandro Almas vs Diego Vasconcelos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Naucalpan Natividad, Naucalpan,  taking place on 23/08/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Mexico State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Almas (9 - 12 - 3) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Diego Vasconcelos(12 - 9 - 2) from Tlalnepantla, Mexico.  Almas weighed in at 140 pounds, while Vasconcelos weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ximen Fleites, and the three ringside judges are Rico Estopinal, Dario Gaona and Dario Montes.  

Round 1: 

Vasconcelos is on target with a right hook.
