Freddie Aprill vs Gustav Strohman

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Switzerland-East promoted show at Zurich Matthies, Zurich,  taking place on 30/06/2025:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Switzerland-East Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport Szene Fernsehen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Freddie Aprill (9 - 8 - 2) who hails from Zurich, Switzerland and Gustav Strohman(7 - 2 - 2) from Zurich, Switzerland.  Both Aprill and Strohman weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dietrich Hennigh, and the three ringside judges are Stan Gfeller, Dearg Bieneman and Maynor Cruey.  

Round 1: 

Aprill finds the target with a jab.  Aprill attempts to land a cross, but Strohman sidesteps and counters with a cross.
