Antonio Alcon vs Salvador Sotelo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Santo Domingo de Guz Solares, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 27/07/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Antonio Alcon (13 - 0 - 2) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Salvador Sotelo(10 - 10 - 2) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Alcon weighed in at 154 pounds, while Sotelo weighed in at 153 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Arias, and the three ringside judges are Paco Cantero, Ramirez Banegas and Fresco Montes.
