Elderson Chikelu vs Segun Sanya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Noori, Kano,  taking place on 27/07/2025:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elderson Chikelu (11 - 1) who hails from Osogbo, Nigeria and Segun Sanya(12 - 7 - 3) from Kano, Nigeria.  Chikelu weighed in at 121 pounds and 1 ounces, while Sanya weighed in at 121 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Lukman Adoke, and the three ringside judges are Hope Ukuh, Gbolahan Adenaike and Theophilus Adeniran.
