Alejandro Melchior vs Vicente Sol

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Estadio Obras Sanitarias, Buenos Aires,  taking place on 01/09/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Publica, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alejandro Melchior (15(1) - 3) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Vicente Sol(7 - 3(1)) from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Melchior weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces, while Sol weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Anaya, and the three ringside judges are Nicandro Villagomez, Berto Tallon and Roman Flores.
