Sammy Chibhabha vs Ian Nyumbu

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Morris Depot Police Camp, Harare,  taking place on 07/08/2025:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on DStv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sammy Chibhabha (11 - 0 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Ian Nyumbu(13 - 6 - 1) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Chibhabha and Nyumbu weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Mupariwa, and the three ringside judges are Lado Nkala, Darryl Sibanda and Paul Moyo.
