Jose Tardio vs Mike Holmes

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Big Gym, London,  taking place on 24/07/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Jose Tardio (6(2) - 0) who hails from Irapuato, Mexico and Mike Holmes(0 - 0 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Tardio and Holmes weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel McGowan, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Flint, Adam MacLaine and Ahmed Zakaria.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Holmes's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Holmes's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Holmes's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
